Yeah I figure an Infinaut discard is either gonna be a Hela/Ghost Rider play, or Dracula thats hedging its bets if Apocalypse doesnt get big enough (or both)

Generally only time I emote is when a random effect creates a large imbalance

I think this deck isn't working too well BUT this is a pretty hilarious victory. (I had Wong and Mystique at Warrior's Falls-- they were fought away)

I got absolutely demolished just now by a Galactus deck.

I Aero'd his Galactus into a lane where he already had 3 minions on Turn 5 so I was feeling pretty good. But then he played Destroyer on turn 6 to wipe his board. I waved on turn 6 (it was a Limbo game).

Then on turn 7 I played Death, She-Hulk, Magneto. He played Death, Gamora, and Leader which copied all of my shit. (he had 8 mana from an Electro earlier).

I was so proud to screw up his Galactus I was blinded by the turn 7 wreck coming my way.

Moon Knight showed up in my shop, dropped Sword Master for him in my Hela deck.

I just had someone Daredevil me. I noticed an unfilled lane had Ant-Man on it, so I put down Enchantress to force him to make a counterplay.

He played Professor X. Enchantress then disabled his lockdown ability. He retreated.

First location was Raft, I had Brood and Wasp in hand so I knew I could fill it on 3. He played one card there on 2 and it was Bucky so I snapped, we played out turn 3 with me filling up Raft while he didnt, and he retreated right away on turn 4. Funny thing is I got an Infinaut that there was no way I would be using, and since he was running Destroy he should have been able to recover in that lane!

Huh, I was only able to spend about 4000 creds before running out of upgradeable cards, with about 75 CL gained. I have 6200 left over.

I have been playing very rarely recently though, 0-3 games a day. That really hurts your booster ratio.

He basically turns the game into a 5 turn game instead of 6 turns. If you're winning on turn 5 and you leader then you just win.

Sure there are a few counters but they're not realistic for 99% of games or decks.

Patriot, Sera, and Surfer decks are usually fine against him, and all three of those are fairly common right now. Just gotta play out your important stuff before 6 in case they use Leech on 5

reducing his power makes him even stronger in Mister Negative decks, because then you can use him to make a big comeback by dropping other high-energy cards on that turn

It just gets old looking over the board on turn 6 and thinking "okay, I lose to Leader and literally nothing else" and then they always have Leader.

It's like I have to stay in those games when there's only one possible card that could beat me but they always have it.

After 6 months with this game it's just getting old to go through that same situation so many times.

I never lose to Leader with my Ultron deck, mostly because bots don't get anything back from the Patriot and Kazar buffs.

I'd try to make a deck where they can't benefit as much from whatever 6 energy card you drop.

I'm sure as soon as I switch to my Patriot deck I stop seeing Leader and start seeing Enchantress (even though I use IW to counter that) so IDK.

I think Leader more speaks to a design flaw of the game being based around huge turn 6 plays because that's how you climb the fastest.

Like I can win a lot of games with my Galactus deck on turn 4 or 5 but my max cubes is 2.

Lot of decks beat leader. He counters specific deck types-- if you establish a commanding lead in any lane he generally loses though.

And if you have a commanding lead in any lane on turn 5 then they just leave for 1 cube?

I know that there are lots of decks. I know that lots of decks beat other decks and lose to other decks. It does not make losing to Leader feel any better.

I'm collection level 4000 and I've been playing for 6 months, I know!

I think I'm just feeling annoyed by tech cards in general lately. Ruining your opponent's strategy just feels too easy in this game sometimes.

Leader is possibly playable at 3 power. Anything less and he'd be Mr Negative exclusive pretty much

Seems like Vormir has some bugs. If you play a Green Goblin to the opponents side before they have played anything there, it counts as their first card played there and gets destroyed. And if your first card there is Colossus, then the second card you play gets destroyed instead.

Green Goblin makes sense. The destroy happens after the on reveal.

Colossus is weird though.

It would make sense for it to be destroyed if it was also the first card that you had played, but if you put a 1 or 2 drop there to get destroyed and then you play green goblin on 3, it should stay on their side. It wasnt played there, it was played on your side and then the On Reveal effect moved it.

its also inconsistent with how Goblins work at Bar Sinister. If you play one there, it moves to the other side, and then your side fills up with goblins (because thats where it was played), and as many of them as can fit will move over to the other side as well. If both sides were empty, this usually means you get stuck with one goblin still on your side.

I was going to lose this one but my opponent didn't snap so I threw Wanda out to see what would happen.

Worldship destroyed the two locations I was losing and gave me a tie...

If I played Enchantress instead if Shang-Chi I could have won but I wasn't expecting Worldship so I didn't bother counting lol

I was just trying to make a deck to show off some cool variants and I made an extremely fun deck thats winning pretty consistently at the moment lol.

I'll do this too with Aero in my alt deck. Aero in general ruins so many very obvious location-based plans and it's satisfying to pull off.

Doesnt Wong just make Goblin come back to you?

Nope! It only doubles the On Reveal if it is played on his side, so Goblins just float over and take up a spot.
