I had that feeling in Nagoya. I had to take a bus and subway to go to the local college where I'd meet my group. It was extremely weird to be the only person of my ethnicity in areas. I always felt like that hundreds of eyes were on me

Now I know how minorities sometimes feel in some places.

I remember a teenage boy walked past me on a sidewalk and actually did a double take. Nagoya does not get as many foreigners as Tokyo. Someone on the trip told me some people in Nagoya never see foreigners except on tv or whatever
I know that feeling. I walked into a Jolibees once and I was literally the only person in the restaurant who wasnt Filipino. Everyone stared. Workers and customers alike.
