Again, from my own personal lens (straight white middle aged man) I thought the game was fun and a different lens than I would typically play a dating Sim. I don't think it ever was trying to be deep, thought provoking, or even advertised itself as BEING anything more than a silly dating Sim where you are a gay man. Can media not be silly and fun if it is part of the LBGTQ+ community? Why is it problematic for this game to be in that community but then in the same breath you have Hunie Pop being a huge success with no backlash? I won't discredit the feelings of anyone, I'm more intrigued on that particular part of the issue now. It goes without saying that nobody should have their job and livelihood threatened for speaking their mind about a project... but I would understand getting angry and defensive if I was being accused of exploiting LBGTQ+ people when all I was doing was making a silly dating Sim. --- https://i.imgur.com/GWG5c3r.gif ...
