To start he went off on this rant initially when Matt from Supermega, former grumps editor, gifted him 150 subs on twitch. It pissed him off because he saw it as a publicity stunt when Matt has basically cut ties with him after the drama from the dream daddy incident when they used to be good friends. So the stuff that happened at grumps was like 5 years ago when game grumps was publishing the Dream Daddy game where you play a gay dad that dates other gay dads. Several people under grumps employ found the game to exploitative of LGBT people. Dingdong was pushed to say something about these concerns and when he did the people that were to back him up said nothing and he was left to deal with the fallout. Here's where we don't have a lot of details but the higher ups in the grumps office took this very personally and it led to dingdong and his partner being grossly mistreated for the duration of their contract. DD was very private despite being in the public eye for a couple years. Someone in the office doxed his personal information on reddit or 4chan leading to his homophobic family being told he was gay while he was still in the closet. Things were so bad that he attempted suicide. Can media not be silly and fun if it is part of the LBGTQ+ community?
