Eh being nostalgic that things were better when they were kids is pretty normal for every generation yeah. But overall the whole attitude of "How dare they do this to this kids cartoon/movie I liked as a kid?!" is pretty unique to our generation I'd say. It's especially a bit laughable for something like Scooby-Doo which has been used to shill products and lazy TV shows for half a century.
