How long did the game last?
It looks cool but I don't trust it to last.
@ViewtifulJoe

I mean, depends how much you want to do. Just beating the game won't take too long, but completing the pokedex and beating all the quests will be a much-longer process.

Of course, I'd also argue you haven't actually beaten the game until you do catch all pokemon and beat every main quest considering that's the first thing you're told to do (and the game tells you to do that multiple times afterwards as well). Credits ending isn't even an appropriate story-ending (sure it wraps up the main story-issue presented) as there's an additional part after that which truly feels like the final fight that finishes up the story of the game.

So, yeah, it took me 100 hours to do everything I wanted to do (complete the pokedex (catching all pokemon and getting to research level 10 for each pokemon), complete all main/sidequests, and unlocking all item slots (which will be a money grind)).

I would say, from a game perspective, just catching all pokemon (so not even getting them to level 10 research) and doing every main quest will be a good-enough stopping point to feel like you got your money's worth. I'm seeing estimates anywhere from 60-80 hours for the average player.
