Topic	The Wii U can apparently brick itself if it is not used for a long time.

After this month there's no good reason to keep a Wii U connected to the internet, so "various means" to prevent this from happening should be considered. Wii U has been so abandoned you can literally go to a website on the console and back up your entire library to a USB drive.
