There's a lot of bookshelves he can grab for cover, blockading entrances which will create bottlenecks for Gordon to shoot into. Raiden has AR vision which really handy to find people. I just think the strategy of spamming raise doesn't make much sense, especially when as was discussed, there are limited MP pools.
