Your anecdotal evidence aside, this is just incel logic but with the genders swapped. Women Going Their Own Way. It's just biased how you think that when one gender is single it's because they choose to be, and for the other it's because they deserve to be. How do you know that a huge percentage of single men aren't single because they choose to be? Because of a vocal minority on the Internet who say otherwise?

You know, I didn't really expect anyone to double down on such a shit take. You ever think that maybe those women do actually have personalities, but just aren't as outgoing as you'd want? Like they're introverted, which is why they're using dating apps in the first place, because there's less pressure.

That's what works for some people/couples. The problem isn't that certain gender roles are completely outdated, it's that people shouldn't all be expected to conform to them like it's the only way a relationship should function. For some couples, the historical gender roles are reversed because that's what works for them. There isn't a one-size-fits-all type of relationship, and some people prefer more rigid gender roles to more flexible ones. If that means they have a harder time finding someone, that's tough but it's still their choice to prioritize that.
