Are you not considering the mists and sprays and occasional sidestreams and splatter at the impact site? This is the very reason it's fine to do it in the tub. Can you imagine how disgusting the area around the toilet is? How about how disgusting your pants get from the inevitable spray or splash that happens? Then what, you go sit on the couch or something spreading the urine everywhere. This is something literally nobody ever thinks of. It's nasty. Do you disinfect the floor, wall, toilet seat every single time you pee to wash away the micro splatter? If you go in the tub, rinse it down with some soap and water, that is constantly there swirling around over everything, the whole time.
