This is such a frustrating topic for me that gets to me on so many levels.

First of all, it is a completely avoidable and unnecessary act to pee in the shower. People who do it, do it intentionally as part of their shower routine. And it is absolutely disgusting.

I mean, you act like a pee stream is always this perfect line between you and wherever you are aiming. Are you not considering the mists and sprays and occasional sidestreams and splatter at the impact site? And I doubt all of you are hydro homies, meaning that your pee is sometimes very yellow and stinky. I really hope you are thoroughly cleaning that shower on a very regular basis!

I mean, maybe if you are the only one who uses that shower, I guess you can wallow in your own filth if you want. Still makes you disgusting, but that's about it. But if you share that shower with other people, not only are you a disgusting slob, but you're also an inconsiderate asshole for making other people shower in your piss remnants. And remember, this is a completely avoidable and unnecessary act.

The final frustrating thing is the denial. I don't know if I ever met a shower pisser who was like "yeah, I know its kinda gross but I do it anyway". They always stand their ground that it's not disgusting at all, but rather a perfectly normal action. It's kinda like trying to reason with a predatory reseller that what they are doing is wrong. You can't rationalize with them. They are firm in their beliefs that they're not wrong. Now I'm not comparing predatory resellers to shower pissers, I'm just comparing their defensive denial of what is in my opinion a blatantly disgusting act, that, which bears repeating, is absolutely unnecessary to do in the first place.

Just piss in the damn toilet!

Sigh....I almost feel like this is the other side of the coin to the whole wiping conversation. So many people don't wipe properly after they take a poo. You know, the people who get skid marks in their underwear because they follow "three wipes and your done" or "ball up the toilet paper, one big wipe, and your done" or "I don't wipe because it's gay." There are so many personal hygiene quirks people develop because they don't teach this stuff in school and parents don't really reinforce it once the kid is independent in the bathroom.
