I work at one of the big box retail stores. There's a mid-20's looking guy who will come in and follow me through the store at a distance, and he'll always be sure to check out where he would get to say something creepy and flirty to me. Have always stayed strictly professional. Annoying, but not exactly uncommon in retail. Last month he stopped me as I was coming back from break and said "You know I have feelings for you, right?". I turned around and said "Dude, you don't even know me." and it's only gotten worse now. Few days ago he came up to me asking if he could give me his phone number. I told him I'm not interested, and that I'm not gay. Day after that, he comes up and asks if we can be friends, I tell him no, I have plenty of friends, and I don't want him to be one of them. He sulks off.

Well, yesterday, while I was on break, this guy came in and was stalking around my usual spot where I work, just walking in circles and rubber necking to see if I was there yet. One of my coworkers finally saw him doing the actual stalking and she was extremely unnerved. Apparently he even dipped in and out of the bathrooms real quick near where I usually work, presumably looking for me. I'm glad someone else saw the actual stalking and had seen how creepy this guy was. She wants me to escalate the issue. I've told management about this guy a few times, but since I'm a guy being stalked by another obviously gay guy, and this is the deep south, they've mostly just shrugged off my concern, some even laughing about it when they thought I couldn't hear them. So if I end up being turned into a leather couch by this dude, y'all know what happened at least.
