Should that have come to pass, it would be the fault of those who refused to raise the debt limit without a bunch of strings attached, the people who elected Bernie elected him knowing full well he doesn't compromise with terrorists. Although personally kind of glad there were enough people willing to compromise on this. I'm not american so the programs getting slashed doesn't affect me, but the whole world would suffer if the US defaulted. --- Is there any other time in a modern democracy where large numbers of citizens complained that their government wasn't enough like a tyrannical dictatorship? ...
