I've done a lot of thinking, and out of the 30 or so actual puzzle shrines I've done, there is one that actually legitimately required some building, and it's a pretty early one.

It's the one where you gotta build a hanging vehicle through long winding rails. Honestly a big mistake that that one is available so early when players wouldn't be so accustomed to building

Outside of that, honestly putting a fan on a wing is barely qualified as building something. You can always build more ridiculous contraptions, but I have to question why any of that is necessary if you specifically hated building.

You have a lot of really powerful tools like rewind and ascend. You know you can like lift a metal plate up, put it back down, rewind it, then just ascend up it? That alone saves most building in like at least half of the puzzle shrines I've seen
