Topic	I understand this may seem naive, but why do so Republicans act cruelly?

The "both sides suck" argument is almost always used as a blatant and dishonest attempt to undercut how much more one side sucks over the other. Only one side is actively trying to strip human rights from and potentially even genocide entire groups of people, and only one side attempted a terrorist attack on our nation's capital to illegally overturn the result of a democratic election with the intent to install the loser of said election as a fascist dictator. Yes, the Democrats suck too.
