Feels like the entire country is on the verge of a reckoning, everyone from Teachers to Writers to truck drivers are underpaid because the ones on the top feel everyone else is just worthless cogs to be replaced one after another and its pushing things to the breaking point.A lot of how things are now is the result of a decades-long push by the people at the top to devalue labor. The truth is the rich, no matter how rich they are, aren't just going to let the wealth trickle down if they can help it. We see the same kind of thing going on with the current writers strike where one of the major issues is corporate heads using the rise of streaming as an excuse to cut residuals paid to writers on the things they've written. --- "It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose.
