I feel like CE is like radiation for mental health. Everything here is so combative. Everyone hates everything. Anything funny as at the expense of others. People just assume the worse intentions of others.

This kinda environment is really not good. Whether you think youre being affected or not.

This place definitely made me become a more impatient and spiteful person, which I hate to admit. I learned a lot, but after taking about a month break from this place, my life immediately improved. I grew more appreciative of family and friends. I put myself out there and found a girlfriend that I think could go the distance. The negative assumptions I had about my job have dissipated. I worked out more consistently. And because of positive factors, I poured all my drinks down the drain. Etc.

I highly recommend if youre going through a rough patch. Or are not happy where you are in life. Try disconnecting for a bit. Not even necessarily just CE. But the internet in general. I didnt know what tf folks were talking about with that submarine business, but my mental health improved immediately.
