I feel like for most people, it's kind of a thing where what you put in is what you get. If one is argumentative all the time or looks out for every kind of downer topic to post in and revel in the sadness or just trolls and shit posts all day it can affect them negatively. I try to have some sort of balance. I post in a lot of political topics, but I also do in many other kinds of topics whether it's about gaming, movies, shows, or whatever. I try to be at least somewhat positive.

This is true. I tried to be a positive change if I ever tried engaging which put me directly in combative situations. Even as a bystander, I tended to notice reactions I viewed as too harsh or ignorant so much more. I think the posters who arent so intentional get the most out of this place.
