Yes. Any game that struck a chord with you and you love.
Mine is pretty simple XD my favorite JRPG is Wild ARMs 2. It was the game that started my love for the JRPG genre. A little bit about the game, it's a turn based JRPG with a heavy wild west aesthetic. So much so that the music even has the iconic western whistling in the music. Another fun thing about the Wild ARMs games (2 in particular) is the large amount of optional content. Wild ARMs 2 has MANY optional bosses, however they require you to get an optional party member and her optional Mic tool. The story is absolutely fantastic, though the localization is....VERY spotty lol. Now as to why I love this game so much, my family didn't really have a lot of money when I was growing up so by the time we got a PS1, the PS2 was already a year old lol. I remember coming home from school that day and seeing my old man setting it up. He told us we could all play it after dinner. We wound up having pizza that day so my sister's and I scarfed our food down quick XD after waiting rather (im)patiently it was finally my turn on the PS1. After going through the small pile of games I landed on Wild ARMs 2. At the time I didn't know what anime was so the art style really got my attention. Booted it up, and was greeted by what is still my favorite gaming intro ever. Sadly I didn't get to play long since I had to get ready for bed for school the next day. Came home from school the following day and I basically had the PS1 all to myself. Booted up Wild ARMs 2, watched the intro again, and finally got into it. The game starts off with having you choose 1 of 3 characters, once you pick one you're off. Now these 3 characters are only the INTRO of the game, once you do all 3 you finally get to the game proper. That moment is when the game truly captivated me. The music, the world map, the turn based battles. EVERYTHING came together to draw me in further. Sadly, at least for the first 2 weeks, I couldn't save the game lol, no memory card. I played those 3 intro sections so many times that I could basically speedrun them lol. Once we got a memory card, I went HARD on Wild ARMs 2. Spent that weekend playing nothing but Wild ARMs 2, so much that I got pretty close to the end of disc 1. Funnily enough, with how quickly I got near the end of disc 1, it still took me about another week to beat the game. I still, to this day, play Wild ARMs 2 at least once a year. Like I said, it's the game that introduced me to my favorite genre of all time. Even if we never get a new Wild ARMs, I'm perfectly content with replaying 2 for the rest of my life.

Sorry for the long post lol >~>;

Wild ARMs is still the best JRPG series in my opinion and we desperately need a new game in the series!
