depends on the context exactly. if I'm recommending to some random, like if someone on CE made a topic that was "been on a puzzle game binge recently and I want more" I will probably just show up, namedrop baba is you, and then disappear never to be seen again. maybe I'll write like 1 sentence about what sort of game it is but honestly it's not worth the mental or emotional investment since they won't play it anyways (sad truth)

to people I know, especially if I have a better sense of their taste, I'd be able to put more thought into picking a particular game I think that person might like and so also I have more to say about it in the context of why I think they'd like that game
