Topic	Are soda, water, and beer edible?

But I think colloquially, when people think of food/eating they are thinking of what we commonly call food. So I think its fair to say that soda is not a food because it is not what people typically thinking of when considering what is food. If you had a glass of soda, and someone said are you going to finish eating that?, that would be an odd way to phrase that question. This is essentially my stance. Edible means able to be eaten.
