Topic	Owning a house is expensive as fuck. Renters have it lucky.

I did a roof at the height of covid in late 2020, early 2021 - when supplies were scarce, and insurance paid 8k for Owens Corning Duration shingles on a 1904 sq foot single story home (that's a lot of roof). And if you paid 32k in AC, you must have a double system meaning you have at least 2 stories in your house (maybe 3 if basement). So your roof is smaller on a multi story house than one story of comparable size. And you talk of your AC system as it is a singular unit. OP doesn't add up, leads me to believe it is full of inaccuracies. House is cathedral and is wide; doesnt build up top like most multi story houses.
