Dave is heads above most stand up comedians in that he's a master story teller. He knows how to reel you in and it's great because eventually there's a punchline that hits hard. I am, however, not a fan of his trans jokes but not because they're offensive or "punching down" (a comedians job is to find the funny in everything, even stuff that is taboo) but it's for the same reason I'm not a fan of Steven Colbert making Trump jokes... the punchline is always the fucking same. When a punchline is the same for the subject every single fucking time, it gets predictable and boring. When Steven Colbert makes a Trump joke, I'm like, "Let me guess, he's a dumbass." and what do you know I'm basically a prophet. For Dave's trans joke, it's always either "They have a penis!" or "The penis isn't real!".
