Topic	There's a potential Donkey Kong kill screen coming up if anyone's interested
Robot2600 07/31/23 11:39:02 PM #20:	Donkey Kong doesn't have a 255 or 256 kill screen like Pac-Man. There are only like 117 boards or something. Pac man runs out of memory, but in DK it's caused by a glitch that they never found during testing. The rom can easily be patched (or u can even hex edit 1 or 2 lines of code yourself) to go on forever. But the game never gets harder after level 4 (completed on board 13 or 14, so then it's the same thing for 100 boards, takes several hours, and so everyone likes the kill screen.
