Gear 5 reveal in the anime this weekend. Toei has been building so long to this I hope they really make it something special. I still consider Gohan's SSJ2 transformation to be one of the most iconic moments to ever happen (which is funny because I don't even like Gohan that much as a character) and if this can even come close to that I'll be happy. Of course non-One Piece fans on the internet can't seem to help themselves but dunk on it before they even see it and will spam Goku SSJ transformations all over social media in response. It is what it is I suppose.

Meanwhile in the manga Garp and Koby got some long needed screentime, but OH NO GARP YOU SEEM TO HAVE AN ICICLE-SHAPED HOLE THROUGH YOUR CHEST. I don't think they're killing him off though I assume they're gonna hold him hostage for something in the future.

and now we're back to Egghead where a MAJOR INCIDENT is about to occur :O

The hype of Gear 2nd and Bluno getting his face rocked is hard to top, but Gear 5 I think did that. Turning Kaido into a literal cartoon was just incredible to see. Gear 3rd always seemed dumb to me and the various versions of 4th were kinda weird, but I liked Boundman a lot since he could just rocket around the sky.
