IMO this is worth preempting with a constitutional amendment to severely curtail pardon powers. Something like "the president may not offer pardons to any serving member of the federal government and may not pardon anyone at all during a presidential impeachment trial until after it has concluded." --- It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha." https://i.imgur.com/dQgC4kv.jpg ...
