I really dont understand why anyone wants physical still in 2023Because I'm still one of those people with friends I can interact with in real life and if I'm going over to one of their houses and we're thinking "hey it would be fun to play a video game", it's much easier for me to bring a disc than to pack up my entire fucking console and switch it out for theirs when I show up (or vice versa) Plus the fact that you actually own it and don't have to worry about having your permission to play revoked, or not being able to boot it up if your internet is down, or simply being able to buy them cheaper on the used market -- especially in the case of first party Nintendo games, which literally never go on sale digitally in any substantial way Or stores that run a "buy two get one free" or similar sale that you never see on a digital storefront ...
