I also take issue with zsig's handling of this. It is a major weak move for him to A) Act like he's better than me because he allowed ulti to participate during his tenure, which is not something I feel beholden to uphold ("I'm the reason this topic exists in the first place" etc), and B) not running this himself after talking that talk. Several people have mentioned how he then gave the topic to ulti, idgaf about that, really. I take umbrage more with him not running it himself if he thinks he is such a better host than me.

My last post in this topic:

I never once acted like I was a better host. In fact, you were running the league very well until you put that rule up. I was willing to make a compromise and keep tabs on mine and his picks throughout the season so that you could keep running this.

Second, my career takes up most of my time and I wouldn't be able to run this as efficiently as I did in the beginning. It's not a weak move to give the keys to someone else.

On a somewhat similar note, leaving the Discord quietly was my decision alone. I was hardly posting there anyway and decided to do everyone a favor there without being verbal on my way out. I don't regret any decisions made in the past 24 hours.

Obviously I will not change anyone's minds here. I was just trying to help a friend who's been in this league as long as I've been, alongside a couple other OGs. If people here choose to dislike me for that, that's on them; I've been disliked here before by worse.

Also for the record, taking the high road isn't pathetic. It's called being an adult.
