Obviously this is a bunch of wierd board football nonsense, but just in a vacuum, it's morally correct to ban Ulti from anything you want. For 2 decades the man has repeatedly acted like a monster, briefly pretended to have turned a new leaf, and then went right back to the exact same tricks. Without fail, every. Single. Time. And people keep falling for it because....remember the shirt, yeah that's B8 lore, he had a cool shirt! Can't let that go!

This has happened at bare minimum a dozen times on a macro level, probably dozens more on a micro level. When it's brought up, someone will always say "no he's cool now", and then he always goes back. People just keep getting tricked.

The man deserves no happiness on this board at this point, and it's completely self inflicted.

And based on the existence of this topic, this post will assuredly be modded. Whatever!

Heya, we interact sometimes but fmpov (and I am a person who can certainly be riddled with bullets for some things I have done, feel free I am a mess sometimes) Ulti is clearly someone who suffers from immense trauma surrounding his childhood that I have always been able to empathatize with while decrying when he does wrong. It has always put me in a tough spot because holy shit does ulti say things really bad at times but also I can understand in part the process he has had to go through.

I never think about the shirt, or the lore or whatever. We are just dealing with someone who clearly had developmental struggles due to an immense amount of trauma and someone who let his popularity go to his head worse than even me (saying something here tbh teenage chris was a hoot in the worst way at times) which led to... a lot of messes.

I think at this point if a user on the internet drives your decisions at any point, if you are still angry at one person who if you pay any attention to outside of the bad incidents is clearly a traumatized, fragile man trying to get better, I would suggest to try to let it go. Don't forgive, don't unblock or whatever I couldn't care less. I keep telling Ulti not to worry about b8 discord because it is anyone's right to not want to be around him, he is not owed forgiveness or a fair shake or even a slightly unfair shake. But also, this post isn't really about Ulti. I'm explaining Ulti, but people stay angry for too long about things when the opposite of love is not hate, but disinterest.

I hope one day everyone finds peace tbh. Says famously peaceful Chris, am I right? lmao. Blame my new anti-psychotics and other medicines but I have been feeling much better lately.

People thinking Ulti is in this cycle of monster then pretend then monster vastly overestimate Ulti tbh. He's not nearly so sinister and put together. He's just broken. And it is your right to hate him and block him and anything else. Not saying otherwise. It makes nothing he has ever done here right. But I don't think people realize how they sound sometimes.

Moderation was fair under gamefaqs rules, I think? Post 1 was clearly trolling aimed directly at Ulti tbh. Very intentional at that. To the point someone else couldn't post picks for someone who has been in the contest for a long ass time. The difference is some people think that trolling is justified, whereas gamefaqs mods don't really consider the lore.

I get almost no one gives a fuck about my take mind you, but I am getting healthier so typing a lot is easier for me too. Ulti started it, lots of people continue it, both sides care too much about words on the internet. Both sides are not equal of course, Ulti started it trauma or not so he is 'more wrong', but this isnt about blame moreso than 'find something better to do than be mad at ulti when you see him.' I have taken up knitting. There was no real point to this I guess, just felt like responding because imagining ulti as some craven monster while perhaps interesting struck me as very off. He is, like most monsters, just a broken man trying to unbreak himself and he has done real harm unfortunately.
