See, you're wrong because ALttP is the best Zelda game. Not only did it define the design used for all the future Zelda games, it also has the best romhacks. In fact, one of those romhacks was so good that Nintendo decided to release their own romhack and call it a sequel on the 3DS. This is why it's the GOAT. To argue otherwise would just be due to your nostalgia blinding you to reality.

Lol, pal, ALTTP IS my nostalgia. The first time I seen a zelda game my oldest brother borrowed the game from a friend until my middle brother's birthday were we got our own copy. I remember link walking out of the storm and you have to go to hyrule castle.

But, the zelda series stayed on a good or decent quality there isn't a big gap like the Sonic series had or others like FF.
