Gotta say, as mediocre / bad as Bethesda's writing has become overall, it's a feather in their cap that they managed to create a pretty decent morally-gray conundrum that people are still arguing about over a decade later (although the rise of Trumpism has certainly - and rightfully - cast the Stormcloaks in a far more negative light).

Which stands in stark contrast to the game's other big moral dilemma - the only argument that one ever prompts is exactly how hard Delphine can go fuck herself.

The funnier thing is all the people who are like "Man the Stormcloaks are just too racist man" have clearly never played Morrowind XD

The Stormcloaks are polite compared to the Dumner who are true MAGA in Morrowind.
