In soccer, standings are determined by points giving based on a win/draw/loss. 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, and no points for a loss.The Premier League is the UK's top tier of soccer leagues in the country. At the end of the season, the three teams with the worst record get sent down to the Championship League and replaced with three teams from that league.

I decided to look at the record of the worst team of all time to show up in the Premier League. That team is the 2007-08 Derby County, a team that is right now in the third tier of UK soccer leagues (League One). After eight games, they had a record of 1 win, 2 draws, and 5 losses, and have a standings point total of 4. They also only had 1 win that entire season and finished with a standing point total of 11.
