increasing your beasthood resistance lowers the amount of meter you get from using a beast blood pellet. this is a negative thing, not a positive thing. beasthood is not a negative status effect that enemies can inflict on you. oh damn, thanks for the correction! specifically the best thing to buy are Blood Rocks because they are the one weapon upgrade material that is a PAIN to get otherwise. even for being as expensive as they are in the Insight Bath, they are still worth that price in my opinion. especially since, when they become available to buy, you'll be wanting to keep your insight near 0 all the time anyway. just to add on to this: yeah, there's literally only one Blood Rock in the whole game otherwise, sans lucking out and getting some in the highest level chalice dungeons --- Welcome to your Divinity. ...
