Well, it could just be that I'm getting more emotional as I get older. Rewatching It at the theater yesterday still made me tear up. (Yeah, that part where It is pretending to be Georgie and asking Bill to take him home really gets to me, I'll admit it.) I don't know. I guess it just feels good to not be emotionally disconnected.

I'm a good distance into Samus Returns, and the game is appreciably hard, but I think it might be time for another VN. Just have to decide what it is. Could replay School Days HQ, do a deep dive into Steins;Gate, or pick up any number of the short ecchi bits (e.g. the Sakura series). Too many choices. Not a bad thing.

But I notice I am reluctant to really go epic (see: Dies Irae or Muv-Luv) just yet. I need more free time to make one of those monster VNs feel really worthwhile.
