Lol why are people so defensive about this? They aren't English; that's all. Seriously; they have no connection to the history of the region AT ALL, until what? a hundred years at most for the majority of them? Most yards are 60s 70s. I mean sheesh it's not that serious and being English isn't that great. But functionally, if you're the son of an English expatriate or something, you don't suddenly lose your tie to that ancestry, meanwhile someone who happens to be born in England gets to be called English even if his ancestry is wherever else. That's why plenty of Englishmen born abroad are STILL ENGLISH, even if they're born in Kenya, Saudi Arabia, India, etc. Why is this so difficult?
