He doesn’t have a car right now, so he and his roommates are having to all share one. Unfortunately the dude who owns it has just not been making the payments and didn’t tell anyone, and it just got repossessed. Since there’s now there’s no car, he can’t get to work (roommates are able to get rides), which means either I move in for at least a while so he can use mine or he has to quit his job and move back home, two hours away, in what is a very small and shitty town. And for various reasons I can’t stay over there so we would basically never see each other

Tbf, I stay there usually like 5 nights a week as it is so it wouldn’t be too different, but it’s still a step we shouldn’t have to be forced into taking, and it puts a lot of pressure on me. It’s hard to believe this isn’t going to fuck with our relationship too
