Topic	Why do current veterans think they have some sort of moral high ground?

TC, whether you believe the wars were justified or not since WWII (and I do not think they were), it doesnt change the fact that we deserve a little more respect than your average person who spouts off becuase we volunteered and were ready to lay our lives down for what we believed in, and others were not. That's gotta be worth something at the end of the day, no? Believed in what? America bullying other countries for its own personal gain? What are you talking about? Hitmen also lay their lives down for other peoples selfish gain... they are not admirable. While im not equating the US military to hitmen... the idea that protesting patriotism is some huge slap in the face to their service is asinine..
