| Drakeryn 10/10/17 12:25:27 AM #45: | eh, I get what tazzy is trying to say you can have a policy that is 100% consistent from day 1 and yet is internally/logically inconsistent. like, uh, "no running in the school halls unless you're on your way to or from music class." not a great example but you get the idea. it could be the policy from the first day of school, but it's still internally inconsistent, because if running down the hall is bad then you should just ban it altogether, and singling out music class is entirely arbitrary. we can argue whether singling out the anthem is similarly arbitrary, but it's not such a wild stance to take --- another place and time, without a great divide, and we could be flying deadly high ...
