Another thing is that the movies are supposed to be sort of like a jigsaw puzzle themselves - the more movies you watch the more the overall plot makes sense.

I feel like that's just people putting too much faith in the writers, though - it's probably just mending plotholes in such a way that makes it seem like they were hinting at something.

Is it obvious, yet, that I hate this entire franchise?
