And yes, Incredibles 2, Ralph 2, Frozen 2, Planes 3 and Toy Story 4 does mean a run of sequels coming out in 2018-19. Those are easy money for Disney and combined with Star Wars and Marvel films, Disney are under zero pressure from shareholders. Also, the Pixar film coming out next month (Coco) isn't a sequel. Yes, it sucks that we're getting 5 animated sequels in a row, it doesn't mean Disney is creatively bankrupt. In the last two years we had Moana, Inside Out, Good Dinosaur and Zootopia. Stop being so shortsighted. Disney cancelled a bad concept they couldn't make work, end of story. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
