Loot boxes should only ever be for cosmetic items and even then it's a bullshit way to get people to spend more time and money trying to get what they want. I hate the system altogether and it needs to be gone. Been playing overwatch for 10 months now and I can say overwatch does it right. They're a ton of ways to rank up to get loot boxes, which also drop in game currency. I have a gold skin for all but one player (sombra), and I've bought 3 skins with in game currency. Sitting on 5k+ because honestly, most of the stuff i want drops in loot boxes Overwatch had to fix their loot boxes recently because they just kept giving people dups.
