No one in their right mind, regardless of race or culture, would go investigate an on-going scary noise and obvious trap deep in the basement. No one! However, Hollywood horror movies always have White people so curious to go see and more than likely they have one person go see what's going on alone. And then we're ALWAYS the unreasonable douchebag that starts a panic and gets everyone killed because we're the skeptic. "Hey Josh there's a scary ass rustling and moaning noise coming from the cellar. Why don't you go check it out by yourself?" "LAWLZ no prob it's prolly just the wind".
