I was eating walnuts and almonds pretty regularly up until a few months back. I was no longer losing weight and examining my diet to figure out why, as I was working out consistently still.

Fact of the matter is, walnuts and almonds are good fats for you but they really do hold a lot of calories so you have to be careful when eating them. I decided to keep everything else the same but take the almonds and walnuts out of my diet and almost immediately dropped like 7 more pounds.

I track all my calories so I'm good

I don't track my calories regularly at all.I pretty much go by a "you can tell when you've had enough" gut feel type of thing and it's worked for very well for me. But on that day I pretty much added up all my calories and that's when I came to the realization of just how many calories there were in those things.
