I caught part of her standup special on Netflix, she's awful. If you want to get a feel for her work, start there. Otherwise "Who?" is an appropriate response. streamofthesky posted... This topic reminded me about Kristen Schaal. Saw her "Live at the Fillmore" on Comedy Central once, and it was surreal...not the slightest bit funny or even interesting. I watched to the end waiting for something to happen or change, or some big twist to make it all comprehend-able, but...she really was just that terrible and devoid of humor. Dunham's never made me laugh, but at least I can sort of understand how some of his dumb puppet lines could make other people (with poor taste) laugh. But that show was just plain bad.... Kristen Schaal is generally terrible. I think her gimmick is being deliberately annoying, since every character she does -- on the Daily Show, 30 Rock, etc, -- embodies it. She's not funny at all.
