"It doesn't matter cuz both sides are bad" is an argument that carries absolutely 0 information. It provides no information about you, and it doesn't provide anything for anyone to agree or disagree with. Actually it does do 1 thing: entrenches dichotomy-based thinking, which is the worst thing to happen to ever debate and argumentation.
