Topic	People keep telling me how much "freedom" getting a car would give me.

Yes, I had my permit and drove quite a lot years ago, but I never bothered to take the test. I dislike it because of the other people on the road not paying attention, but I was a perfectly fine driver myself. No other option allows you to go anywhere as fast as a car.
