My family was always extremely close but a bunch of them going into a shitty idea of a business together (which most of us wisely avoided) ended up burning through a ton of money (possibly a million bucks) and now my one cousin has sort of estranged herself from those involved and a few other people who werent. The catalyst was my uncle dying though, because all the bullshit after his death never wouldve happened.
