Topic	Since the Switch board is useless, any of you know how to setup a wired...

Do you have a router that you plug into a modem or does your college just give you an ethernet jack on the wall to plug into? Just an Ethernet jack to plug into. OK. Are you just plugging the switch directly into that jack? If so, does your computer have a static IP set on it?
