| CableZL 12/08/17 5:17:39 PM #38: | Looks like static IP addresses have to be specifically asked for, and they offer DHCP-based IP address assignment. So essentially as long as they're allowing your MAC address, you should just be able to plug it in. You may benefit from having a router so you can have multiple devices plugged in at once, though. I'd check to see if they allow that. Essentially, the router would plug into the wall jack and get the IP on the "external" interface, and then it would have "internal" interfaces for your devices to plug into and get IP addresses from the router itself. --- ...
