| Topic | AIM Mafia 10-Year Anniversary + AIM Shutdown |
| Delseban 12/08/17 8:36:50 PM #1: | The first night of AIM mafia played by board 8 was on December 16th, 2007. AIM is going to be shut down permanently on December 15th, 2017. It's been 10 years. (Sadly, it's off by one day) I think, in honor of AIM, and to celebrate our 10-year anniversary, we should have one last night of mafia, played on AIM. I propose Thursday the 14th. I am too busy on the other nights this week, (I could maybe do Wednesday), and even on Thursday, I won't be able to stay up late, so we'd have to keep it short. And it's the last day AIM will be online. I could also do a night this weekend, but it may be too short notice. I know AIM is archaic and we'd be better off playing on Discord or anything else, but I think it's only fitting to say goodbye to AIM with one last night of tribute games. (And yes, we'd have to download old versions of AIM, since the new ones don't support chats) Who would be interested in this? And if so, are you okay with the 14th? ... Copied to Clipboard! |
